Solar installation is the process of setting up solar panels to convert sunlight into usable electricity. Solar panels are typically installed on rooftops or on the ground in areas that receive a lot of sunlight. The installation process involves mounting the solar panels, connecting them to an inverter, and connecting the inverter to the electrical grid or a battery system. Once installed, solar panels can generate electricity for decades with minimal maintenance. Solar installation is becoming increasingly popular as more people seek to reduce their carbon footprint and save money on energy costs.
Battery storage systems are devices that store electrical energy for later use. You can charge your batteries up on the cheap on the overnight electricity tarrif then use when your house demains require it. These systems are typically used in conjunction with renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, where the energy output can be unpredictable. Battery storage systems work by charging batteries when there is excess electricity being generated, and then discharging the stored energy when it is needed. The batteries used in these systems are typically made of lithium-ion, lead-acid, or flow technology. They come in a range of sizes and capacities
Electric vehicle charging is the process of recharging the battery of an electric vehicle (EV). EVs can be charged at home using a standard wall outlet, but this process can be slow and may not provide enough power for longer trips. To recharge an EV quickly, specialized charging stations are used. There are three levels of EV charging: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. Level 1 charging uses a standard 120-volt outlet and can take up to 20 hours to fully charge a battery. Level 2 charging uses a 240-volt outlet and can fully charge an EV in 4-6 hours. Level 3 charging, also known as DC fast charging, can charge an EV to 80% in as little as 30 minutes.

Gareth and his team have delivered incredible service right from start. They came onsite to understand our solar requirements and advise on the different solar panel and battery options. Many companies don’t do this and simply quote based on an image from Google maps!
The Rayleigh Instruments kit that we went with is fantastic and has a great build quality. It’s installed externally at the front of my property and looks great.
The electrical knowledge these guys have is second to none and their attention to detail is very evident from the neat install. A lot of time and attention was spent making sure the panels were secured to the roof with the correct mounting system for the tiles that I have.
Now I’m saving a great deal of money utilising an EV tariff and also protected from power cuts (which I gets lot) with a UPS/EPS installed as per my requirements.

Professional, helpful and thorough
We have no hesitation in recommending Kinetic Renewables to anybody considering household battery installation. Definitely 5 stars. Besides being a really friendly guy, Gareth, the director , is very knowledgable, very professional and meticulous.
Installing a house battery is not something to be undertaken lightly. Its expensive and, judging by many Trustpilot reviews I read before taking the plunge, sometimes risky in terms of after sales support. From my first contact with Gareth of Kinetic Renewables we had confidence that we were talking to a very knowledgeable person. Right up to the installation date he kept us informed as to progress in obtaining the required kit from Givenergy and answering the many questions we threw at him.
After discussions with Gareth we went for a 9.5kWh Givenergy system. The installation went smoothly and we were consulted at all times about OUR requirements for the placement of component parts and the emergency power outputs.
Since commissioning the installation Gareth has still made himself available to help us get to grips with getting the most out of the new system. Some of the Trustpilot reviews we read for OTHER installation companies suggested that this was not always the case.

First had contact with Kinetic Renewables and Gareth in February to discuss a Givenergy AIO installation. I thought then how courteous and professional Gareth was and his extensive knowledge of the Givenergy system I required. We had a date booked in for the installation. On the day Gareth promptly arrived and stared the installation. The installation and commissioning was completed the following day Gareth went through every detail of the control of the battery both locally and via the App. I must say I am greatly impressed with the quality of workmanship and the equipment installed. Just wish I had found Kinetic Renewables sooner and had my panels installation done by them also. Would recommend to anyone looking for a renewables installation.
